I like the simple layout as well as the organization of the website. The lessons themselves are also very useful, as they go into detail about how to use the elements. They also provide extensive examples, and I would recommend this to someone who wants to learn HTML and CSS. So far, I do not have any negative things to say about this site.

Codecademy is also a website that teaches a wide variety of code. They offer courses in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ruby, and a few more. I like the interactivity of the website, where they teach, and you practice the code at the same time. I have used this website in the past to learn HTML, and I was a bit disappointed as it didn't effectively teach what we were learning. For example, we would learn how to make tags and comments, but because of the lack of explanation in some of the lessons, it caused me to blank when I had to type the actual code. But, that is the only criticism I have. I like the aesthetics of the website, but I wouldn't recommend it to people learning how to code for the first time.

They explain extensively and simply about the different elements of HTML and CSS, and provide examples on how to use them. There is also a forum in which users can post to for help, problems, or just to talk. I think this is especially useful for beginners, as they can get help from more experienced users. The website also provides tips for typical mistakes. The only bad thing I have to say about this website is that they only teach a few types of code, which are HTML5, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript. I would recommend this to others.
